Acute Care Med / Surg RN - General Medicine - BSN / ASN
Seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg floor at an established hospital South of Lafayette, LA. Providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with a wide range of conditions.
Pay: $55,316 - $87,613
Schedule: Days or Nights
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, including history taking and physical examination, to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients based on their specific medical conditions, treatment goals, and administer medications prescribed by physicians ensuring proper dosages
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree of Science required
  • Current Registered Nurse license in State
  • BLS and ACLS
  • Acute Care experience preferred
