JOB SUMMARY
The PMO Business Analyst partners with business units across Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other functions across the enterprise to understand and document the capabilities needed to address business challenges. This role works closely with Project Managers to review assigned business processes end-to-end, identifying and addressing operational, financial, and technological risks across initiatives spanning multiple business domains.
Reporting to the Sr. Director - Head of GTO CoE & Corporate Applications PMO, this position serves as a key liaison between Operations, business stakeholders, and GTO, supporting requirements gathering, process design, testing, and project documentation across initiatives spanning multiple business domains, and operating within the standards, governance, and reporting frameworks established by the GTO Center of Excellence.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Document system requirements, including integration between multiple systems, define scope and objectives, and support the creation of system specifications that drive development and implementation.
  • Evaluate user requests for system automation to determine feasibility, technical requirements, and business impact.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit business requirements and liaise directly with end users.
  • Partner with business and GTO team members to map existing processes and design improved ones.
  • Assess and analyze existing processes and data to identify improvement opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders for discussion.
  • Support stakeholders throughout the full project life cycle to define, design, and implement software solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and GTO, gathering business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements, and implementations.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, both proactive and reactive, across assigned business processes.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and build business cases to secure financial approval for solution implementation.
  • Lead or participate in multiple projects, completing and updating project documentation, managing scope, adjusting schedules, determining daily priorities, and ensuring efficient, on-time delivery of tasks and milestones.
  • Monitor milestones, and provide timely reporting on issues affecting project progress.
  • Track and monitor project budgets, actuals, and forecasts against approved plans, identifying variances and escalating financial risks as needed.
  • Support financial tracking and reporting for assigned projects, including capital and operating expense monitoring, in partnership with Finance and Project Managers.
  • Meet regularly with project teams to review deliverables and deadlines, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • Develop and execute test plans in support of system implementations and enhancements.
  • Manage and monitor buy-lists, and track REQs/POs to ensure timely delivery and mitigate project risk.

QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Information Technology, Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management, or related field of study, or an equivalent combination of experience and skills.
EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in business process design, requirements gathering, and translating business requirements for development, using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Travel or hospitality experience preferred.
