Compass Group's Creative Studio team, which focuses on creating engaging and attractive sales content, is looking for a Photo & Video Production Specialist who is passionate about creating high-quality photo and video content to tell compelling stories. You'll be working closely with the team leader, and across other Compass creative divisions, to develop strategies for producing industry best photo and video collateral. You'll also assist on photo and video shoots as well as live video productions as needed. You should be a team player who is eager to participate, to learn and adapt team standards, and who understands the need to be flexible. You thrive in owning an entire project and seeing it through from conception to completion. And you should be someone who thrives in a creative environment, but who understands the importance of deadlines and operates with a sense of urgency. Must be based in Charlotte, NC, but prepared to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to create compelling photo and video content that drives engagement and sales growth.
  • Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment on photo and video shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals that align with team standards and overall company objectives.
  • Organize travel logistics, technical shoot requirements, coordinate project personnel, and plan for contingencies for remote travel shoots.
  • Produce video edits that effectively communicate the value of Compass Group's offerings to potential clients.
  • Capture and integrate audio and video content into presentations, websites, and social media to support sales campaigns.
  • Provide production assistance for photo and video shoots, as well as live video productions, with a focus on sales-driven content.
  • Organize and maintain all creative assets, ensuring files are clearly labeled and easy to access for sales team use.
  • Partner with various teams across Compass Group to ensure video content effectively communicates the correct messages and supports sales goals.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including C-Suite, while guiding scripting, content development, and project scope.
  • Provide creative direction and guidance to project stakeholders that achieves project goals, perpetuates our team's standards, and elevates creative aesthetic.
  • Consistently present new and innovative ideas for photo and video content that can enhance our portfolio of work.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in photo and video in a professional setting, including pre-production (planning, scripting, mood board creation, shot listing, etc.), production (camera operation, flash/continuous lighting, audio, etc.), and post-production (editing, grading, animating, etc.).
  • Must possess exceptional listening skills to help clients achieve their goals, as well as strong communication skills in order to direct on location, encourage participation, and ensure the execution of shoot objectives.
  • Familiarity with photo and video editing processes and experience in creating content that supports sales and marketing objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple divisions, particularly with sales teams.
  • Excellent interview skills to ensure guest satisfaction and storytelling maximization.
  • Highly creative, engaged, and detail-oriented with a passion for the craft.
  • Proficiency in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys creative challenges.
  • Ability to meet short and long deadlines and switch gears quickly.
  • Possess professional sensibilities when handling feedback, critiques and notes, ensuring client and team satisfaction throughout.
  • Willingness to travel for shoots (avg. 1-2 travel shoots per month) as necessary.
