The Western Region Consolidated Business Office delivers comprehensive insurance revenue services to our affiliated UHS facilities, encompassing billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance analysis, and customer service. Job Description: Refund Analyst Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM IN-OFFICE POSITION

The Refund Analyst is responsible for identifying and validating overpaid insurance claims and initiating refund requests from medical insurance companies. This role requires a thorough understanding of contract terms and financial acumen to accurately interpret and communicate relevant details. Additionally, the Refund Analyst collaborates closely with external teams to ensure timely resolution and compliance with company policies.


Qualifications

Experience:

2 + years medical contracts and claims experience.

 

Education:
High School or equivalent.

Requirements:

  • Experience in hospital acute care payer contracts.
  • Articulate with medical insurance terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and 10-key data entry skills.
