Job Description
The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition is accepting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor to join our expanding program.
Position/Program Highlights:
• Collaborative team of Physicians and Providers, Nurses, Dietician and Administrative Staff who support direct and indirect inpatient and outpatient care, consultation, procedures, teaching of fellows, residents and medical students, clinical research projects.
• Established 3-year Pediatric GI Fellowship program, comprised of 3 clinical fellowship positions.
• Dedicated Infusion Center offering medication treatment for a number of GI diagnosis.
• Opportunity to engage in clinical and research activities across a number of Pediatric, Surgical and Transplant teams.
• Strong focus on community outreach and health equit

Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience
Salary range: Assistant Professor $200,000 to $215,000 Associate Professor $220,000 to $240,000
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Licensed (Maryland) M.D./D.O.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Maryland State medical license, or able to obtain.
• Demonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment.
