Job description

What You Will Do:

Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Spokane Distribution Center located at 9610 W. Hallett Road, Spokane, WA 99224.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
  • Willingness to be trained on and operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists. Keep in mind,not all available positions operate equipment.
  • Report defects and need for repairs.
  • Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
  • Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative.
  • Perform housekeeping functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

  • Experience:Have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and Demonstrated longevity of at least twelve months in previous employment- Agility:Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk approximately 10 to 12 miles per day, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively and consistently, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

What to Expect After Applying:

Shifts:

Actual shift availability varies week by week. Successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift. Please note that this could mean a sizable waiting period before starting.

  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm ($19.95/hour)
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm – 10:30pm ($20.95/hour)
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday night – Friday morning 10pm – 6:30am ($20.95/hour)
  • 4th Shift: Saturday and Sunday 10am – 8:30pm and Monday and Tuesday 2pm – 12:30am ($20.95/hour)
  • 5th Shift: Wednesday – Friday 2pm – 12:30am and Saturday 10am – 8:30pm ($20.95/hour)
  • 7th Shift: Monday night to Friday morning 10pm - 8:30am ($20.95/hour)
