Job description

Production Packer / Assembly Associate

$20.00 per hour | Four-Day Workweek | Overtime Available

We are hiring a Production Packer / Assembly Associate to join a stable manufacturing team. This is an active, hands-on position responsible for removing finished products from an overhead conveyor line, completing light assembly, inspecting products for quality, and preparing them for shipment.

The Production Packer / Assembly Associate will follow detailed work instructions to ensure products are assembled correctly, meet quality standards, and are packed securely.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Friday: Overtime may be available depending on production needs

Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek while still having opportunities to earn additional overtime.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Remove finished products from an overhead conveyor line safely and carefully.
  • Assemble components according to work instructions and product specifications.
  • Ensure all parts are correctly and securely assembled before packing.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and verify they meet quality standards.
  • Report quality concerns or unusual conditions to the crew leader or supervisor.
  • Pack products securely in approved cartons or packaging materials.
  • Label cartons accurately with product information and quantities.
  • Work closely with the production team to maintain workflow and meet daily goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with additional production-line duties as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and remain active throughout a 10-hour shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving reaching, handling, assembling, and packing products.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy, busy, and occasionally dusty manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, masks, and steel-toed footwear.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or packing experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
