[Responsibilities] - Coordinate packaging and shipping requirements across internal and external stakeholders to meet program and regulatory objectives. - Assist in developing and maintaining Special Packaging Instructions, ensuring compliance with DOT, hazardous material, and performance-oriented packaging standards. - Support hazardous material identification, labeling, documentation, and shipment activities. - Participate in packaging design reviews, process improvements, and root cause analysis for damaged shipments. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and shipping records using Microsoft Office tools. - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support packaging data content and hardware transportation needs. - Resolve packaging and logistical challenges through proactive teamwork and effective communication. - Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and customer-specific packaging requirements. - Support occasional overtime and travel as needed to meet program milestones. [Required Skills and Experience] - 1-3 years supporting packaging, handling, storage, transportation, or shipping for hardware, components, or system-level equipment. - Proven ability to coordinate packaging and shipping requirements with cross-functional teams. - Experience interpreting and supporting compliance with DOT 49 CFR and hazardous material shipping requirements. - Skilled in developing and maintaining packaging documentation and technical support data. - Proficient in hazardous material identification, inventory, and shipment activities using SDS/MSDS protocols. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills for creating documentation, reports, and shipping records. - Experience in technical documentation, process improvement, and root cause analysis. - Familiarity with engineering design data, product data management systems, and MCAD tools like CREO, Pro/E. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills in fast-paced environments. - Willingness to work onsite, support overtime, and travel as required.
