Job description

Reporting to the Packaging Manager, you will support the execution of packaging and commercialization projects across the international packaging team. You will work on a broad range of packaging, product transition, supply chain, and business continuity initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver practical solutions that support multiple brands and manufacturing locations.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and support transition projects involving packaging changes, supplier transitions, product updates, and manufacturing network changes.

  • Coordinate packaging activities across cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, Brand, Finance, Product Development, and Quality.

  • Support commercialization efforts to ensure packaging solutions are implemented successfully in manufacturing facilities.

  • Execute package evaluations, plant trials, and validation activities to support business initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for packaging improvements, cost savings, risk reduction, and supply continuity.

  • Develop, maintain, and issue packaging specifications and technical documentation.

  • Analyze data and communicate project results, recommendations, and next steps to stakeholders.

  • Assist with troubleshooting packaging-related issues and support root cause investigations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners across North America.

  • Monitor packaging industry developments and emerging technologies that may benefit the business.

  • Support project planning efforts and maintain awareness of budget and timeline impacts.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of packaging development and project experience in consumer-packaged goods, manufacturing, packaging, commercialization, operations, or supply chain.

  • Understanding of packaging materials, packaging systems, manufacturing environments, or commercialization processes.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with experience managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience collaborating across diverse cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Understanding of business fundamentals and cost management principles.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Willingness to travel independently, including international travel to Canada.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
