  • We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage.
  • The hourly equivalent for this position is $26.19 - $40.63. [OR The annual salary for this position is $54,464 - $84,501.]

Position Highlights

The Klamath County Circuit Court in Klamath Falls, Oregon, is hiring a Operations Clerk (Court Operations Associate).

In this role...

You will assist in assuring accurate and timely processing of all Civil, Probate, Family Law, Criminal, Traffic, and Juvenile filings submitted to Klamath County Circuit Court. This position assists self-represented litigants and attorneys in using the court system by informing them of court procedure and policies as they relate to circuit court matters. This position is responsible for preparing appropriate forms and documents, for assuring accurate and timely processing of all monies received by the court, and for creating an accurate case register and record of monetary obligations and payments. This position provides backup for other positions in operations when needed.

As part of this position, you will interact with people at a customer service counter. This will include interactions with judges, attorneys, litigants, and with other people who come to the court to have their matters resolved. You will answer questions and assist people, both in-person, email, or by phone. Candidates fluent in Spanish are highly encouraged to apply!

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
  • Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required.
  • Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Frequent phone and in-person contact with people who may be facing challenging life circumstances or highly stressful situations.
  • Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
