In this role, you will be at the forefront of cloud transformation for our Air Dominance (AD) program, shaping DevSecOps patterns with an “automate everything” mindset to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable solutions. You will contribute both as a hands-on developer and as a leader, mentoring junior team members and guiding cloud migration and optimization initiatives. We are looking for a driven professional with deep expertise in automation, security, and cloud technologies who thrives in fast-paced, mission-critical environments. If you are passionate about enabling secure and reliable systems through DevSecOps innovation, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both COTS and custom applications.
Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners) into CI/CD workflows to strengthen DevSecOps practices.
Collaborate across development, operations, product, and security teams to embed security throughout the application lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting best practices in automation, cloud, and security.
Enhance operational security with advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute expertise on security and automation practices.
Apply networking and network security principles (VPC, subnets, VPNs, NACLs, Security Groups) to cloud architectures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, security tools, and operational processes.
Train and guide teams in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and operational security methodologies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks through automated checks.
Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD workflows, operational procedures, and security protocols. Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles.
3+ years of experience scripting with languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
3+ years of experience with DevOps platforms and tools (e.g., GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline).

3+ years of experience working within Agile development teams.
1+ years of experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Tanzu).
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53.
