Job description

Midtown Pediatrics
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; no weekends
Summary:
Responsible for providing support to physicians by providing patient care including patient triage, initiating patient treatment and documentation, providing appropriate education to levels of understanding, maintaining and managing patient forms and referrals, making consultant appointments, and calling for pre authorizations.
Other information:
Knowledge of Children's of Alabama's healthcare market preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse AL Only or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
