Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner. Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required.

Qualifications

MLT/CLT: Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS)  

MT/CLS: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS)

Licensure & Certifications

MLT/CLT & MT/CLS: Registration with a nationally recognized certifying organization is highly recommended. ASCP registration is preferred.
