Job description

Nature of Work This position is responsible for completing complex technical inspections at various medical, dental, veterinary, and industrial settings throughout the state of West Virginia. It is responsible for ensuring that facilities are compliant with the Radiologic Health Rules. This is primarily a field position with staff traveling throughout the state 90% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications Training: Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering or closely related scientific field.

Substitution: Possession of a current license issued by the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners which was formally the West Virginia Board of Examiners of Radiologic Technologists may substitute for the associate degree; OR if licensed by another State, the ability to apply for a license issued by the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners within six-months of employment. Special Requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of hire and must maintain such for duration of employment.
