Job description

Responsibilities *This is for an upcoming future opportunity. This will be an onsite position at the Pentagon. This position is part of a proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.

Position Overview We are seeking an on-site Stockpile Stewardship Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the Government's primary point of contact and to provide overall guidance for all nuclear stockpile stewardship requirements. This role combines technical project analysis with stakeholder engagement across the nuclear enterprise. This position requires working on complex nuclear stockpile stewardship projects while serving as the Government's technical resource for nuclear stockpile requirements.

Key Responsibilities * Serve as primary point of contact for customers on nuclear stockpile stewardship requirements * Provide comprehensive knowledge of the current nuclear stockpile at National, DoD, Joint, and Service levels * Maintain expertise on current and emerging nuclear weapon systems and capabilities * Review, analyze, and recommend actions for USG approval related to nuclear stockpile sustainment * Interact and coordinate with DoD and non-DoD offices and organizations within the nuclear enterprise * Attend and participate in nuclear stockpile-related technical discussions, meetings, conferences, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and forums with community stakeholders * Conduct project feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for nuclear stockpile initiatives * Monitor and track project progress, performance, and expenditures, analyzing variances to identify trends, opportunities, and risks * Prepare technical reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and facilitate decision-making Qualifications & Skills * Advanced knowledge and seasoned understanding of the nuclear enterprise business/industry environment * Experience working on complex issues/problems of large scope, impact, and importance * Ability to apply complex methods/skills to develop novel, customized solutions for nuclear stockpile challenges * Exceptional initiative, creativity, and innovation skills * Demonstrated ability to make significant contributions to policy and procedure development * Ability to operate under general direction and apply extensive judgment independently Required Qualifications * Masters degree and 6 years of experience OR a Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 11 years OR a high school diploma and 14 years of experience in lieu of degree. * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nuclear stockpile stewardship requirements at the National, DoD, Joint, and Service level. Demonstrated experience working and coordinating with DoD and non-DoD offices and organizations whose roles involve the nuclear enterprise, nuclear stockpile, and nuclear weapons systems.

* *Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI * Must be a US Citizen Desired Qualifications * It is desired that the Stockpile Stewardship SME has the following qualifications: - Demonstrated experience working in complex environments with multiple POCs. - Demonstrated experience in generating briefings; drafting information, point, white, and decision papers; drafting testimony and articles for publication; and, preparing senior Government personnel for public speaking engagements. * Experience within the AF/A10 community.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
