Job Summary:
ANG Signal is seeking a highly skilled and certified Cloud Network Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex network architectures across hybrid and multicloud environments. The role involves leading network integration and migration efforts, ensuring compliance with federal security standards, and collaborating with security teams to maintain network security controls.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance network architectures across hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead network integration and migration efforts from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure compliance with federal security standards including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST guidelines.
• Configure and manage VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and network gateways.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain network security controls and incident response plans.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, etc.).
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Proficiency in network security practices and tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience working with federal agencies and securing FISMA Moderate/High systems.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
