As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will implement, support, and maintain our organization's cloud and collaboration infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 and other platforms, safeguarding the reliability, security, and performance of these systems. JSSI is transforming into an AI-first technology and product organization. You will use AI as a core part of how you work every day, generating infrastructure from intent, investigating issues faster, and continuously automating manual work to do more with less time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and support the organization's Azure Cloud Computing platform and Windows Server environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement and support cloud network and security services, including Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups.
  • Administer and support the organization's Microsoft 365 environment, primarily focused on Exchange, Teams, Teams Telephony, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Administer Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, and eDiscovery, ensuring retention, preservation, and legal hold requirements are met across the M365 environment.
  • Generate infrastructure and configuration from intent using AI, with Terraform and PowerShell, and automate recurring manual operations rather than repeating them.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery testing and ensure backups are maintained.
  • Onboard, offboard, and routinely audit the organization's user and application identities using Entra ID while adhering to Identity and Access Management best practices.
  • Configure endpoint devices using Intune and monitor to ensure compliance.
  • Configure and support Cisco Meraki network hardware, the organization's ticketing system, and other business SaaS applications.
  • Respond to security alerts to eradicate threats within the environment.
  • Lead and contribute to various infrastructure improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents and performance issues AI-first, using AI-generated queries across Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights, and confirm the root cause.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and perform off-hours support and maintenance as required.
  • Ship AI-drafted runbooks and technical and procedural documentation with every change, checked for accuracy.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our infrastructure remains up to date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology roles.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience administering M365 environments with an emphasis on Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting the Azure Cloud Computing platform.
    • Advanced knowledge of security and network protocols.
    • Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Strong experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strongly preferred

    • Terraform experience.
    • Experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), or Cisco CCNA.
At JSSI, we are committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their contributions and talent.

For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $110,000 to $120,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This ranges from insurance offerings such as medical, dental, vision, retirement savings programs, among others, starting day one of employment.
