Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with strong Playwright automation expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for web applications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, CI/CD integration, and ensuring quality, security, and regulatory compliance across enterprise QE portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QE leads to define test strategies
  • Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex workflows
  • Optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability across TD Bank QE portfolios
  • Mentor junior QE associates and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with security, risk, and regulatory standards

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong expertise in Playwright for web automation testing
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus
  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Azure DevOps
  • Solid understanding of QE principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, cross-browser testing, and performance testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues efficiently
