We're seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to work with our stellar team! You will have a chance to work with Broadridge's world-class clients leading highly visible projects. The Principal Full Stack Software Engineer is an Individual Contributor role responsible for designing, engineering, deploying, and managing architecture for specified products. Proposes solid architectural approaches and ideas, ensures code is properly designed and implemented in the most efficient and effective way to benefit the organization. This position oversees and optimizes the design of the financial applications in consultation

Responsibilities:

  • Leads design roadmap, discussions, and development for Development team.

  • Ensures compliance with corporate enterprise standards and policies.

  • Develops, implements, and champions the adoption of design and coding best practices and standards.

  • Leads development and implementation of appropriate ensures compliance.

  • May manage day-to-day work of professional/technical staff or serve as project manager for significant projects with broad impact to business enterprise performance.

  • Provides architecture subject matter expertise to business and development groups. Evaluates new technologies and consistently generates new ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree related field preferred.

  • 15+ years' experience in software design

  • Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, management practices and processes.

  • Possesses expert knowledge of N-tier web-based software applications built on Java-centric technology stack.

  • Deep understanding and familiarity of AWS stack with focus on serverless and microservices technologies.

  • Advanced skills and wide experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server or Oracle).

  • Deep understanding of SQL and advanced SQL tuning skills.

  • Familiarity with OLAP databases (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus.

  • Advanced analytic and diagnostic skills.

  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others across levels of organization and to lead others.

  • Thorough understanding of the business functions, processes, and overall business strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to see results to completion and to lead others to do so as well.

  • Advanced business acumen.

  • Ability to consider others' ideas seriously and accept feedback.

  • Ability to think strategically.

  • This is a hybrid role and requires 2-3 days in the Boston office.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $175,000 - $195,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
