About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative Associate Site Merchandiser to support online business initiatives and visual merchandising strategies for our Dec Acc business. This role helps drive sales and conversion for assigned product categories by executing product ranking, promotions, content integration, category page updates, and site testing.

The Associate Site Merchandiser works closely with the Manager, Site Merchandising and cross-functional partners to bring seasonal launches, promotional moments, and evergreen category strategies to life online. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, customer-friendly site experiences and turning business priorities into clear execution plans.

This role has 0-1 direct reports, but it will also lead execution routines, manage cross-functional follow-ups, and communicate business recaps and recommendations to partners.

Key Responsibilities

Category Merchandising & Site Execution

  • Support online business initiatives and visual merchandising strategies to increase sales, conversion, and customer engagement.
  • Own execution for assigned categories, subcategories, seasonal moments, or evergreen site experiences under Manager guidance.
  • Manage product ranking, category page needs, product messaging execution, content integration, and product detail/page roadmap inputs.
  • Develop seasonal and evergreen recommendations for assigned categories using business results, customer behavior, competitive analysis, and merchandising priorities.
  • Manage creation and maintenance of group files, shot lists, seasonal launch files, and execution trackers.

Promotion, Launch & UAT Execution

  • Support new product launches, seasonal launches, UAT, and merchandising execution across category and product experiences.
  • User-test faceted navigation, product attribution, links, content placement, and promotional experiences to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in weekly site testing to validate presentation, product data integrity, promotional accuracy, and customer experience quality.

Business Performance & Insight 

  • Prepare business performance recaps and share insights, risks, and opportunities with the Manager and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor assigned-category performance, promotional results, product finding behavior, and customer engagement to inform executional improvements.
  • Use web reporting tools, sales data, and merchandising inputs to connect customer behavior with product and site performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize category pages, ranking, navigation, content, and messaging based on performance trends and customer needs.

Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Own weekly or bi-weekly meetings with buying and merchandising partners for assigned categories, ensuring next steps are clear and executed.
  • Assist the Manager with briefing the seasonal creative roadmap, category page needs, product messaging strategy, and promotional execution.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Creative, Analytics, Inventory Management, and Operations teams to support timely, accurate launches.
  • Communicate team strategies, execution requirements, issues, and recommendations clearly to functional and cross-functional partners.
  • Train, coach, and develop direct report, managing individual's priorities, workflow, and executional standards

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of eCommerce experience required.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; working knowledge of PowerPoint required.
  • Experience using web content management systems preferred.
  • Experience with web reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics/SiteCatalyst helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines, launch milestones, and execution trackers.
  • Understanding of site merchandising, visual merchandising, promotions, product ranking, UAT, and category page execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
