This is a great opportunity for an emerging marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Position OverviewThe Associate Marketing Specialist will support the marketing department in optimizing marketing initiatives, tracking and coordinating marketing projects, supporting events, and executing various day-to-day marketing activities. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creativity and problem-solving. Occasional travel (less than 5%) may be required based on business needs.  Duties and responsibilities: Include the following but are not limited to: Marketing Project Coordination: Assist in intake, planning, tracking, and delivery of marketing initiatives across multiple channels. Partner with operational, product, and marketing stakeholders to coordinate development of assets, such as presentations, white papers, case studies, advertisements, internal communications, tear sheets, etc.Events: Support the organization and execution of marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences. This includes partnering with the Events Marketing Manager to assist with logistics, ensure alignment and execution across stakeholders, maintain a tradeshow asset inventory, and track status of assorted subprojects.Communications: Work with the Communications Manager to develop and maintain an editorial calendar of social media posts, press releases, and internal communications to ensure audience engagement. Coordinate information gathering to execute internal and external communications strategies, and support development of comms, as needed.Market Research: Research market trends, competitors, and customer insights to support marketing strategies, as needed.Operational Support: Coordinate with marketing and operational teams on tasks such as scheduling meetings, event registration and logistics, preparing reports and presentations, developing and maintaining templates and organizational tools, monitoring project status, and managing a library of marketing materials. Qualifications and requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (internships or entry-level roles are welcome).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with marketing and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, CRMs, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO).
  • Creative mindset with an interest in staying updated on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and proactively solve problems.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not required.
 Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires frequent use of keyboard and mouse, must be able to wear a headset for prolonged periods.
