Overview
Assist Trade Marketing Manager in developing and executing various Trade Marketing programs, initiatives and activations, working closely with the trade, sales, and brand marketing functions of the business to drive sales and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze the cigar industry landscape and identify commercial sell-in and sell-out opportunities
  • Updating and maintaining marketing materials
  • Assisting in creation of new content as needed
  • Develop and execute visibility items and POS strategy
  • Manage content for B2B order entry platform and drive trade communication efforts
  • Liaise with sales team on trade activities and activation plans/objectives
  • Execute of quarterly event programs, trade shows, and conventions
  • Support sales team with allocation of POS materials and other supporting tools
  • Liase with vendors on POS and promotional item set-up and PO placement
  • Track print projects in collaboration with external vendors

Qualifications
  • 4 year college degree (Marketing, Business or Communications preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in cigar industry preferred
  • Planning, implementation, and execution skills required with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills, with proven ability to take the initiative and action when needed
  • Strong partnership skills in both internal and external communities to develop and execute sales and marketing plans
  • Creativity in developing event ideas and new ways to connect customers and associates
  • Experience in planning special events
  • Ability to engage and influence others to participate in event activities
  • Travel Required: 40%
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM management software
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong work-ethic, flexibility and willingness to get the job done and be solution-oriented
  • Superb oral and written English communication skills; ability to be creative and engaging in written communications
  • Must be well-organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize and execute multiple projects
