With safety at the forefront of our minds, our Atlanta factory proudly and passionately produces 460,000 tons a year of our dry pet food brands, including Alpo, Beneful, Cat Chow, Dog Chow, Friskies, Purina ONE, and Pro Plan. Our factory also does its part for the environment by conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, maintaining zero waste for disposal and more. This plant location is situated along the southern crescent of Metro Atlanta an area that nearly 6 million residents and many of our associates call home. Atlanta is considered the major commercial and financial center of the Southeast, and together, we contribute to the growth of businesses and population, building the city's strong logistics, entertainment and film, and health services industries.Aa an Associate Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for administering the maintenance function of plant facilities and equipment with shared responsibility among Operating Department Managers for specific daily maintenance in their respective areas. Training alongside the factory Maintenance Manager, you?ll learn all aspects of their leadership position while expanding your skill set.Learn and report on how planning and scheduling is utilized to handle the daily and long-term needs of the Plant OperationsShow ability to administer the maintenance function of plant facilities and equipment with shared responsibility among Operating Department Managers for specific daily maintenance in their respective areasReport on existing direction for maintenance training efforts for all Department members and monitor activities to ensure the advancement of individuals is consistent with team goalsProvide the leadership, support, and training necessary for the development of each team member as a valued and critical resourceCoordinate staffing requirements within the Department consistent with plant objectives and monitor and promote activities that will prove effective for improving maintenanceRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment3 years of supervisory experienceOtherJourneyman status, engineering or related education is preferredOpen to relocation to one or more of our 25 facilities across the U.S. for future advancementThe approximate pay range for this position is $89,140.00 to $117,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
