Job Summary:ย SEACORP is seeking a Logistics Managerย to support the Navy's navigation suiteย by overseeingย the planning, coordination, and management of the supply chain, ensuring efficient storage,ย transportationย and delivery of goods.

Jobย Responsibilitiesย Include:ย ย 

  • Develop and implement strategies toย optimizeย transportation,ย distributionย and overall supply chain efficiency, including selecting carriers and shipping routes based on cost,ย reliabilityย and delivery time.ย ย 
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage warehouseย operationsย and ensure goods are stored and dispatched correctly, checking for accuracy and damage.ย 
  • Source carriers and suppliers, negotiate contracts andย maintainย strong relationships to ensure cost effective and reliableย logisticsย services.ย ย 
  • Ensure all shipping, labeling, packaging and documentation meet health, safety,ย laborย and regulatory standards, particularly for import/export activities.ย ย 
  • Lead, mentor and trainย logisticsย staff, fostering a productive work environmentย and ensuring employees are equipped to handle operations efficiently.ย ย 
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency, implementing corrective actions to improve operations.ย ย
