   Position FT/PT: Full-Time

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities: Full Time Senior Logistician position supporting the NSWC PHD - N 

Department, providing on-site logistics support for pre-deployment assessments, ship 

availabilities, and test events.

Incumbent will maximize Combat System readiness through verification and delivery of Integrated 

Logistics Support (ILS) material. As a Logistics Representative (LOGREP), the incumbent supports 

SEA21 kitted material requirements, and Program Manager Representative (PMR) support. One of the 

primary objectives is to perform Logistics Supportability Assessments (LOGSATs) for deploying 

ships, ships participating in exercises, and ships preparing for test events.

Position Qualifications:

•  Associate’s Degree and 7 – 10 years of Logistics experience or no degree and 9 – 12 years of 

experience.

•  Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance, and supervise 

the work of others.

•  Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.

•  Planning & Execution: Support modernization of various ship classes and Flights, coordinating 

with Alteration Installation Teams (AIT)s to perform Ordinance Alterations (ORDALT)s, and Ship 

Alterations (SHIPALT)s for various ship Availability (AVAIL) schedules, such as Chief of Naval 

Operations (CNO) and different Type Commander (TYCOM) AVAIL schedules.

•  Provide ILS deliverables, conduct LOGSAT's and oversee material for (OBRP's, MAM's, Tech 

manuals, & Test equipment) for the entire Combat System and ensure ships Combat Systems Readiness 

levels are at the highest level.

•  Travel Requirements: To fulfill mission objectives, oversee critical test events, and coordinate 

with geographically dispersed stakeholders and shipyards, the incumbent must be able to support 

travel up to 50% when required.

•  Physical Requirements: Requires daily shipboard access, navigating ladders/scuttles/hatches, and 

lifting 50 lbs., while wearing PPE. Work environments include shipyards, test ranges, and remote 

locations involving moderate physical strain with minimal support.

•  Support modernization of various ship classes and Flights, coordinating with Alteration

•  Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.

•  Able to follow company policies and procedures.

•  Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

•  Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel if/when required.
