Job description

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Logistics Manager based in McDonough, GA to support the regional Logistics and Supply Chain team across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities. As an Associate Logistics Manager, you will play a high-visibility role leading cross-functional initiatives that drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and cost optimization across the logistics network. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Distribution, and Transportation teams while providing leadership support during periods of change or site-level coverage needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead cross-functional, end-to-end teams for joint business planning to drive revenue and margin growth, improve service levels, and reduce inventory and operational costs

  • Drive measurable improvements in throughput, labor productivity, space utilization, inventory accuracy, and service performance through structured continuous improvement and automation-enabled solutions

  • Partner with regional Manufacturing and Logistics leadership teams to deploy DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) loss analysis and drive service enhancements

  • Direct the development and implementation of operational standards, metrics, processes, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies aligned with company objectives

  • Develop and execute strategies, goals, and plans to strengthen logistics capabilities and improve customer service

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers while proactively resolving logistics-related service issues

  • Collaborate on network design and KPI initiatives; monitor and report site-level performance

  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and recommend logistics innovations that create competitive advantage

  • Identify and lead redesign efforts, capital projects, and vendor changes to enhance safety, cost efficiency, service quality, and compliance

  • Champion Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement principles across teams

  • Deliver results across core logistics functions including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and exception management

  • Provide leadership coverage and operational support in the absence of senior logistics leadership as needed

Position Details (Location & Work Schedule):

  • Location: McDonough, GA

  • Regular travel to Ecolab facilities within the assigned region (50%)

  • Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods to support projects, process improvements, and leadership coverage needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Transportation, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and/or warehousing environments

  • Broad experience with plant operations, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and inventory control systems

  • Experience working with a formal ERP Warehouse Management System

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline

  • Experience with warehouse automation and robotics

  • Experience in industries such as food & beverage, healthcare, hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, or chemical supply chains

  • Knowledge of export shipments and DOT 49 CFR compliance

  • Cross-functional experience in Distribution, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Compliance, or Regulatory

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S methodologies

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
