Associate Landscape Architects are early- to mid-career professionals who assist in the design, planning, and management of outdoor spaces such as parks, gardens, campuses, and urban areas. They typically work under the supervision of a licensed landscape architect and are involved in tasks like preparing site plans, conducting site analysis, selecting materials, and coordinating with other professionals. This role often serves as a stepping stone toward full licensure and greater project responsibility. Associate Landscape Architects use their technical skills, creativity, and knowledge of environmental sustainability to help create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments.

What are the typical collaborative responsibilities of an associate landscape architect within project teams?

Your role often includes preparing design documentation, contributing to client presentations, and coordinating with contractors during the construction phase.
