Job Description
As a software engineer, you'll play a vital role within the Collections Technology team, collaborating closely with teams across the product line to conceptualize and implement solutions. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving technical challenges, advocating for best development practices, and leveraging the latest technology stack. You'll be pivotal in driving critical technology initiatives across various business functions to meet the firm's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop solutions, reusable patterns, and comprehensive documentation to support engineers across Connected Commerce.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and address technical issues, providing strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and development of infrastructure for Atlas AWS cloud, offering technical expertise in application implementation and deployment.
  • Participate in technology training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Assist teams in understanding the PTX process, aid in the development of non-functional requirements, and provide feedback on design documents.
  • Engage in software engineering communities to explore emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Conduct POCs to assess new services and solutions, documenting their capabilities and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, including web services, core APIs, and design patterns.
  • Experience implementing Microservices with Spring Boot and Event-Driven architectures.
  • Ability to plan, design, test, debug, and deploy software solutions for infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Good understanding of databases Like Aurora Postgres, Dynamo DB & Cassandra
  • Knowledge of AWS, Atlas, and Terraform.
  • Experience of development in React, NodeJS, CSS

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience designing and developing Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with Atlas cloud and practical experience working with Atlas AWS cloud.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and troubleshooting skills related to Terraform in the Atlas Cloud environment.
  • AWS Associate level certification preferred.
  • IOS/AOS experience is plus
