Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the selection, testing, integration and maintenance of cloud native applications, both Commercial-off-the-shelf and Government-off-the-shelf.
  • Integrate applications to customer-specified standards.
  • Participate in the integration of applications with the customer’s standard solutions for authentication, authorization, vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • Assist in the review, selection and recommendation of advanced cloud native solutions to address the customer’s needs.
  • Provide up-to-date expertise with cloud provider environments and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to address cybersecurity and development problems.
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of customer’s guidelines for development, application security, and cloud provider services.
  • Work to the customer’s standards as far as acceptable use to maintain security and standards.
  • Understand and maintain separation between development, test and production environments.
  • Use only appropriate communication between dev, test, and prod environments such as code promotion through github.
  • Maintain absolute separation between customer, contractor, and personal environments.
  • No movement of the customer’s information to outside environments is permitted, and only specific movement of limited, business-related documentation from outside environments into the customer’s systems is permitted.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and other engineers.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and user guides.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of cloud development environments and systems is required.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and data structures.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

The salary associated with this position ($55,000-$106,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
