Job Summary:
Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm. They are seeking a Software Engineering Associate to join their Private Wealth Management Sales & Workflow Engineering team, where the role involves developing scalable platforms and solutions that enhance client experience and streamline front office functions.
Responsibilities:
• Strong knowledge and 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, REST based web services and building Service Oriented Architectures.
• Proficiency in designing, developing and testing cross-platform software; willingness to learn and adopt new languages as necessary
• Experience developing, deploying and supporting software across the full Continuous Delivery life-cycle
• Experience of version control, continuous integration, deployment and configuration management tools
• The ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing software
• The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse teams
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong knowledge and 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, REST based web services and building Service Oriented Architectures.
• Proficiency in designing, developing and testing cross-platform software; willingness to learn and adopt new languages as necessary

• Experience with Salesforce platform is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in the financial industry is a plus
