We're actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Life Web Solutions team. This role will be 4 days onsite in our Newport Beach, CA office.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge self-service capabilities for customers on our external facing websites in addition to enabling marketing technology solutions. You will fill an existing role on a dedicated team of 5 talented people in the Pacific Life Technology division. Your colleagues will include Senior System Analysts & Engineer fellow professionals that believe in open communication, collaboration, teamwork, continuous learning, innovation and at the same time having fun by virtue or recognitions and celebrations.
How you will help move us forward:

  • Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.

  • Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedfield.

  • 6+ Years of software developmentexperienceswith minimum 2 years of experience asFullStack Engineer.

  • Provenexpertisein building andmaintainingweb applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).

  • Strongproficiencyin server-side languages (Node.js)

  • Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus.

  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing

  • Solid understanding ofmicroservicesarchitecture and

  • SOAP/RESTful/GraphQLAPI design.

  • Experience with database technologies (SQLServer, PostgreSql, DynamoDB)

  • ProficiencywithDevSecOpspractices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.

  • Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt tonew technologiesquickly.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer)

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools

  • Experience with an Integration Platform like Mulesoft is a plus.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$124,830.00 - $152,570.00
