Job description

Job Title: Associate Manager Inventory Management 

Job Location: Anaheim, CA with oversite of Gardena, CA

Job Schedule: 9/80 

Job Description:

The Associate Manger Inventory Management oversees the effective processing, storage, and distribution of various good, including raw materials, components, and finished products, aligning with customer contract stipulations and managements sales projections.  This pivotal role ensures timely, cost-effective delivery of products to their intended destinations.  This position owns day-to-day inventory execution at Anaheim and Gardena ensuring consistent inventory practices, accuracy, and compliance across both locations.

Essential Functions:

    • Manage day-to-day operations of both stockrooms ensuring materials are stored, handled, and issued in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and operational needs.
    • Own inventory accuracy performance of the stockrooms, including cycle count program execution, transaction discipline, variance investigation, and reconciliation.
    • Oversee kitting operations to ensure timely, accurate pulling of material against manufacturing work orders, supporting on-time kit availability and production schedule attainment. 
    • Develop and implement process improvements that strengthen inventory accuracy, transaction controls, and audit readiness. 
    • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. 
    • Resolve any problems arising or complaints related to inventory or the stockroom
    • Lead, coach, and develop employees, including performance management. 
    • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
    • Establish priorities, allocate resources, and hold both sites accountable to inventory accuracy and operational goals.
    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement. 
    • Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes meet current legislation and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration preferred. 
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager. 
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. 
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. 
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 
    • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases. 
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff. 
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
    • Knowledge of MRP/ERP and Advance Planning tools such as DELTEK Costpoint 
    • Advanced knowledge of MS office suite of products 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $75,500-140,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
