We're seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support our growing global supply chain operations through international procurement coordination and transportation management. In this primarily onsite role, you'll work closely with suppliers, freight providers, customs partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods worldwide. Supply Chain Analyst

Reports To: Associate VP of Mygrant Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Analyst will support Mygrant Glass's global supply chain by coordinating international procurement activities and managing inbound and outbound transportation services. This role is responsible for executing activities with international suppliers, supporting freight procurement, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. This person will work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, Sales, and external partners to improve service levels, and maintain supply chain continuity. This position requires a foundational understanding of international logistics, global trade, Incoterms, and ocean and air freight operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate international procurement activities with global suppliers to ensuretimelyand cost-effective product availability.
  • Manage the procurement of inbound and outbound freight services, including ocean, air, truckload, LTL, and intermodal transportation.
  • Support the negotiation and administration of freight rates and carrier agreements.
  • Monitor supplier production schedules, shipment status, and delivery performance to ensure on-time execution.
  • Coordinate international shipments from origin through final destination, resolving transportation and customs-related issues as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of Incoterms to ensure appropriate ownership, risk transfer, and freight responsibilities for international shipments.
  • Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, air carriers, and other logistics partners to facilitate efficient global transportation.
  • Analyze freight costs, transportation performance, and supplier metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Assistin forecasting transportation needs and capacity planning to support business demands.
  • Maintainaccuratepurchasing, shipment, andlogisticsrecords within company ERP and transportation systems.
  • Prepare reports and analysis related to procurement, freightspending, supplier performance, and inventory movement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and import/export requirements.
  • Performadditionalduties as assigned.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Basic understanding of international procurement and global supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of internationallogistics, including ocean freight, air freight, customs processes, and freightforwarding.
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communicationand relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel; ERP or supply chain management system experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations that improve efficiency.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within an international supply chain environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, International Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing,logistics, transportation, or procurement.
  • Internship or entry-level experience in internationallogistics, freight, or procurement is preferred
  • Familiarity with international shipping, Incoterms, or import/export processes is a plus. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
