Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

  • Marketing Strategy Development:ย ย Develop and present detailed marketing plans to stakeholders, articulating our vision and strategy for promoting CPA's initiatives.ย ย Developย integrated marketingย strategies that align with our mission of promoting clean, renewable energyย through collaborations with CPA management.ย Lead the development of cross-channel marketing plans that ensure consistent messaging, audience targeting, customer experience, and campaignย objectivesย across all touchpoints.ย Create and informย brand and programย strategy developmentย byย leveragingย secondary andย primary market research, analytics, and benchmarks, ensuring our approaches are data-driven and effective.ย Streamlineย workflows, improve project execution, enhance decision-making, and increase operational efficiency.ย ย 
  • Vendor Management:ย Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, including advertising agencies, translation companies, and printers, ensuring all deliverables meet CPA's brand guidelines and are delivered on time and within budget.ย Identifyย and select external vendors for marketing services and projects, ensuring they align with CPA's goals and standards.ย Negotiate project estimates with vendors to secure favorable terms that fit within CPA's fiscal budgets.ย Develop scopesย forย Requests for Proposals (RFPs)ย that support integrated marketing initiatives across multiple channelsย ย 
  • Campaign Planning and Execution:ย Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across traditional and digital channels, maximizing outreach and engagement.ย ย Manage community outreach through events,ย and engagement activities to increase CPA awareness and program participation.ย Responsible forย ensuringย brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints, reinforcing CPA's commitment to clean energy and community service.ย Lead coordinationย with internal teams for seamless campaign executions and approvals, ensuring alignment with CPA's overallย objectives.ย Monitorย cross-channel campaign performanceย makeย data-driven recommendations for optimizations, continuously improving our marketing effectiveness.ย Contribute to CPA's yearly planning and goals, ensuring marketing strategies support our broader organizationalย objectives.ย 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:ย Collaborate with External Affairs, Customer Care, Programs, Finance, and other departments to align marketing priorities and ensure cohesive communication.ย Liaiseย between marketing and other departments,ย facilitatingย smooth interactions and project executions.ย 
  • Content Creation and Accuracy:ย Ensure all marketing materials, including original copy created or managed by the manager, are free from grammatical mistakes, factual inaccuracies, and inconsistencies in brand messaging.ย Responsible forย proofreadingย content and verifyingย all information before publication,ย maintainingย the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.ย 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:ย Analyze and trackย metrics,ย identifyย trends, and interpret data toย evaluate integrated marketingย performance across paid and owned media, ensuringย effective campaign adjustments and informed decision-making.ย 
  • Project Management and Coordination:ย Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring all components are executed as planned.ย Manage and trackย the progress of marketing communications (Marcom) initiatives, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues toย maintainย the overall quality of projects.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assignedย

Qualificationsย 

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and 5-6ย years of experienceย inย marketing,ย communications, orย journalism.
  • Bachelor's degree inย marketing,ย communications,ย or journalismย preferred.ย 
  • Experience with Google analytics, social media, and media monitoring analytics.
  • Experience with MailChimp,ย project management software, andย Tableau.

Work Locationย 

This position is eligible for either Hybrid or Remote options. The Hybrid option requires attendance in our Downtown Los Angeles officeย on a full-time basis2-3days per week on daysย determinedย by CPA, with work location on the remaining days either in office or remote. Thisย includes a transportation allowance.ย The Remote option requires you to be available to attend full-time inย office days and/or field events within Los Angeles and Ventura Countiesย in accordance withย the needs of the company that may start as early as 8:30am at least 2 days per week.ย The Remote & Hybrid options require full-time in-person attendance at organization or team-wide events 3 times per year for 3-5 days per event. All staffย are required toย work during CPA's office hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST.ย ย 

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,008.17- $180,012.25, with exact compensation to beย determinedย by Clean Power Alliance, dependent on experience. Benefits include health care, a 401(k)-like match program, paid vacation, and sick leave. This is not a civil service position; however, all CPA employeesย are required toย submitย a Statement of Economic Interests form, also known asthe Form 700.ย
