Job Description:

In this role you will be responsible for providing quality administrative & sales support to TD Wealth Sales Channels to ensure all new insurance applications, pending underwriting cases and policy service support are handled in a timely and efficient manner to ensure a positive client experience. You will support optimal business engagement through Business Development Activities, marketing and direct client facing activities.

Furthermore, you are expected to:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and marketing support to Estate Planning Advisors (EPA's) day to day operations

  • Process new business for EPAs and Investment Advisors Portfolio Managers and Financial planner which are facilitated by the EPA

  • Follow-up and monitor enforce and pending cases

  • Maintain application quality assurance

  • Verify, witness and settle new insurance policies

  • Provide policy change (replacement) servicing

  • Deliver ongoing insurance sales support to all advisors within region

  • Keep the TDWISI Sale Channels informed and up-to-date about the status/progress of projects and/or all relevant or useful information related to day to day activities

  • Overall management of the client experience through direct client engagement or support of RM's client engagement

  • Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of Compliance, Risk and Regulators to ensure compliant business practices are supported and guidance provided to the Advisor base supported

Job Requirements:

  • University degree considered an asset

  • 3+ years of service experience in the Life Insurance industry in an administrative or Sales supporting role

  • Level 2 Life License or LLQP (or attained within the first 6 months of start date)

  • Requires comprehensive knowledge of life, critical illness and disability insurance processing and products

  • Designations such as, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) or similar designations are considered an asset

  • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of insurance solutions (products and services, processes, procedures and systems) with client and wealth management team relationship building

  • Strong communication skills with ability to work in team as well as independently
