Associate Financial Advisor

Bhashyam Wealth Management, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing team.

This role is a key part of our client advisory and planning functionโ€”working closely with the lead advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning and personalized advice. The ideal candidate is analytical, client-focused, and motivated to grow into a lead advisory role over time.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Partner with the lead advisor to develop and deliver comprehensive financial plans aligned with client goals and risk tolerance
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, financial analysis, and ongoing plan adjustments to keep clients on track
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, guidance, and support during market changes or life events
  • Analyze client financial data including assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance, and tax considerations
  • Prepare and implement financial planning recommendations and client deliverables
  • Execute investment transactions including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and insurance products
  • Respond to client inquiries and independently manage issue resolution with appropriate follow-up
  • Support business development efforts, including client relationship management and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the advisor to execute practice growth and client engagement strategies
  • Monitor industry trends, planning strategies, and regulatory changes to inform recommendations
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Ability to obtain Series 7, Series 66, and within 6 months of hire
  • Completion of CFPยฎ coursework or a degree/minor in Financial Planning preferred
  • Aspiration to grow into a lead advisor role and build a book of business
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
  • Relationship-driven mindset with a strong commitment to client service
  • High level of integrity and sound professional judgment
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation includes a base salary of $50,000 โ€“ $70,000, exempt, plus bonus and incentive opportunities based on performance and contribution, with overall compensation commensurate with experience and licensing.
