Job description

Creates a level of support and communication between the Commercial Lines production staff and insurance buyer by performing all defined client services for each defined agency book of business category, including but not limited to quoting, creating proposals, service timelines, stewardship reports, and providing customer support as necessary.  Ensure the retention of commercial client portfolio by working with advisors to create appropriate solutions and discovering and executing ways to deepen the relationship.

Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________

1. Supports the Commercial Lines production staff by performing all sales-support duties, including but not limited to quoting, creating proposals, services timelines, stewardship reports, and providing customer support as necessary.

2. Works to ensure the retention for each defined agency book of business by working with advisors to create appropriate solutions and discovering and executing ways to deepen the relationship.

3. Coordinates and integrates with the Service Assistant(s) and Advisors to carry-out what is needed to deliver the product and/or service and work with the advisor or client to make the sale.

4. Navigates the Bignition Sales Platform to better assist the client-advisor-account manager relationship. 

5. Champions the Zywave Platform to better strengthen the client-advisor –account manager relationship.

6. Collaborates with advisors to achieve the most appropriate product and service solutions for the client.

7. Assists advisors in the research of industry-specific and/or client-specific information in preparation for meetings.

8. Creates and maintains positive relationships with advisors, clients, and account managers.

9. Follows proper procedures regarding the use and integration of data within the Agency Management System.

10. Stays abreast of legislative changes and updates that may have an effect on FCIA clients.

11. Maintains an understanding of the underwriting requirements, system capabilities/requirements, and current industry-appetite of each insurance carrier within the specific market being served.

12. When necessary, be available to support other areas of the agency.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/or or equivalent experience is preferred

2. Two (2) years related experience in Commercial Lines is preferred.

3. Experience with Microsoft Office products is required

4. PA Property and Casualty Certification is preferred.

5. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel periodically is required.

6. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
