The Cardiovascular Institute of New England (CINE) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient cardiology team in Rhode Island.
This is a clinic-based position offering a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs while caring for a diverse cardiovascular patient population across one of Rhode Island's most established cardiovascular practices.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and ongoing disease management
  • Order and interpret EKGs, cardiac monitoring, imaging studies, stress testing, and laboratory results
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle modifications, and cardiovascular risk reduction
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Qualifications
  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Rhode Island license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Cardiology experience preferred but not required
  • New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
