Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Adult Inpatient - Missouri


Hospital Based Psych NP opportunity in a great Missouri Location


Full time Opportunity working with a very supportive Behavioral Healthcare Team on a 22 bed Adult Unit


Practitioner completes initial psychiatric assessments, progress notes, annual psychiatric updates, family interventions, develops differential diagnostic assessments, assessments of capacity for consent to treatment, risk assessments, patient education, progress towards treatment goals including medical, psychological, social, behavioral and developmental aspects of the recipient's situation. 


Directs, coordinates, and provides medical/clinical services to specified recipients including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, family meetings, supportive psychotherapy, patient education, and risk assessment, and discharge planning
