Job description

Travel Registered Nurse Laser Associate

Using best-in-class innovative PicoWay® laser technology, we ensure safe and effective tattoo removal. The foundation is in place to continue growing globally, as we are committed to making tattoo removal safe and accessible to as many people as we can.

As a Travel Registered Nurse Laser Associate, you will travel to different Removery locations within your local market, serving as a Laser Associate in an assigned studio (usually within a radius of less than 80 miles) during the absence of the regular Laser Associate. Your duties will include administering safe laser treatments, educating clients on the removal process, and supervising various laser and operational activities. Our RN Laser Associate role offers you the opportunity to empower clients as they begin their journey towards tattoo removal, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in their lives. We are seeking someone passionate about laser tattoo removal, located in the Bay Area who is open to receiving same-day instructions for assignments. This individual must be willing to report to a nearby studio within two hours of receiving same-day directions. This position is non-exempt and includes compensation for travel time.

Address: 7309-B Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92111 (Studio home base location) Pay: $55/h + uncapped commission

Travel Requirements: Will receive same-day assignments and report to nearby studio location (typically within 80 mile radius) within two hours of direction. May require occasional overnight travel. Most studios are located in the Bay Area, but travel to Sacramento or West San Jose may be required on occasion.

Status: Full-time, non-exempt Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday Tuesday: 10:30am-7:00 pm Wednesday: 9:30am-6:00 pm Thursday: 9:30am-6:00 pm Friday: 8:30am-5:00 pm Saturday: 8:30am-4:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective laser treatments adhering to Removery protocol.
  • Ensure compliance with Removery standards for safety protocol, treatment guidelines, and client information and records.
  • Establish trust with clients through excellent customer service while communicating realistic expectations and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain a high level of accountability while collaborating with the studio team to achieve key performance indicators and foster a positive studio culture.
  • Perform light cleaning duties and manage administrative tasks, as needed, to ensure smooth studio operations and client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company learning and development requirements and maintain up-to-date licensing credentials.

Position Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license - State of California
  • Flexibility with various studio teams and clientele.
  • Effective and client centric communication style.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Out of state travel for training may be required
  • Must be able to sit for hour long increments.
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs. or more repetitively.
  • High level comfort with treating and interacting with the human body.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Strong wrist dexterity and strength with the ability to operate a laser and computer/office machinery (required use of hands, fingers, arms)
  • Ability to visually assess clients' skin conditions and safely operate laser equipment while wearing assigned Laser Safety Goggles.
  • Ability to meet employment eligibility requirements.
