Your Role:

In this role you will be responsible for testing neat materials and reference standard products primarily by QNMR, (U)HPLC and/or GC. Additional testing such as LC/MS, GC/MS, KF, ROI, IC, EA, IR, TOC, Titration and/or ICP assigned as needed and in alignment with experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Use experience and education to solve problems, optimize processes, and develop new processes and methods.
  • Maintain and qualify analytical instrumentation.
  • Review data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Develop and validate methods.
  • Respond efficiently to evolving priorities.

Physical Attributes:

  • Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or hazardous chemicals.
  • Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and adjust focus.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to: air helmet, mask, safety shoes, aprons, rubber and Tyvek suits, protective gloves, safety glasses, and/or goggles.
  • Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing quality control and/or analytical chemistry in a regulated environment (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO).
  • Experience in an analytical lab analyzing neat materials for chemical purity and assay for concentration.
  • Proficiency in technical fundamentals, organizational skills, documentation, and effective communication.
  • Experience in separations science, in an analytical and/or bioanalytical lab by UHPLC and/or UHLC/MS.
  • Experience with interpreting NMR spectra for identification and QNMR for assay.
  • Experience with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and quality-oriented regulated environment.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments while working effectively with a team.

Pay Range for this position: $26 - $46 / hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
