I. Main duties and responsibilities:

· Under general direction, plan and organize daily activity of assigned area.

· Follow through on set processes and procedures to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, FDA, USDA requirements.

· Ensure that work descriptions are being followed.

· Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting qualitative and quantitative results of products, including alerting out of compliance results.

· Assist on administering Company’s quality program which may include Sensory evaluation, maintain sample retain library, internal audits, customer complaint, conduct environmental sampling, label review among others.

· Participate in raw materials, finished goods hold/release.

· Maintain production records, including storage and organization.

· Identify unsafe conditions/behaviors and take action to resolve.

· Perform post-cleaning and sanitation inspections.

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

II. Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or Associate in Science in food science preferred or equivalent; or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in the Quality food manufacturing industry.

· Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Requirements

- Able to work in a cold environment under 50 F.

- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

-Able to bend and carry weights up to 30 lb.

- Flexible schedule 10-hour-12hr shift between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday.
