Job description

Shift: Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00AM-6:00PM + rotating weekends

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you’ll work side-by-side with our Physical Therapists to deliver dynamic therapeutic interventions.   • Observe and report resident progress, responses, and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated resident care

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies

  • Support functional rehabilitation goals aimed at improving independence and quality of life

  • Maintains a safe and orderly work environment by performing duties such as routine cleaning of equipment, changing mat sheets and pillow cases between patients, restocking linen and returning equipment and supplies to their proper location 
  • Help with stocking treatment rooms 

EDUCATION:

  • Must be a graduate of an approved two year Physical Therapy Assistant program, with an Associates in Applied Science, majoring as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must have IL and/or IA state licensure
