Job Opening: Elementary STEAM Learning Facilitator

Location: Promesa Academy Charter School
Position Type: Full-Time
Grade Level: Elementary
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year

Promesa Academy Charter School is seeking a creative and motivated Elementary STEAM Learning Facilitator to support hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

The Elementary STEAM Learning Facilitator will help students explore STEAM concepts through engaging activities, projects, technology integration, and collaborative learning. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting classroom instruction, and helping students build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging STEAM activities for elementary students.

  • Support hands-on, project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

  • Assist students with activities involving creativity, design, technology, building, coding, robotics, or problem-solving.

  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.

  • Support teachers and campus leadership with STEAM-related lessons, events, and showcases.

  • Encourage student collaboration, curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

  • Prepare materials, organize supplies, and assist with classroom setup and cleanup.

  • Provide support to students individually or in small groups.

  • Help monitor student engagement and communicate student needs to teachers or administrators.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate's degree, college coursework, or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
