Position Overview

Price Benowitz LLP is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing practice based in Annapolis, Maryland, serving clients throughout the surrounding Maryland jurisdictions.

This is a full-time, hybrid position for an attorney who is interested in handling a wide range of family law matters while gaining significant courtroom experience in jurisdictions across the Annapolis region and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Handle cases including divorce, custody, child support, property division, protective orders, and other domestic matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials in courts across Maryland jurisdictions served by the Annapolis office.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide strategic guidance and case updates.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Maryland Bar license in good standing (required).
  • 3–5+ years of family law experience preferred.
  • Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills.
  • Excellent legal writing, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and effective client representation.
