Duration: Contract - 11 months

Job Description

Have strong experience in aseptic techniques, culture media preparation, and standard laboratory practices and a proven ability to deliver high-quality plant tissue culture media and support high-throughput lab operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plant tissue culture media using established protocols.
  • Adjust formulations and troubleshoot in collaboration with scientists.
  • Track and prioritize media requests using lab systems.
  • Clean and maintain lab equipment on a routine schedule.
  • Manage chemical inventory and supplies.
  • Communicate with internal teams on media quality and delivery timelines.
  • Follow safety, ergonomic, and aseptic procedures consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with chemical handling and biological hazard protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, agronomy, chemistry, or related field.
  • Foundation in chemistry, mathematics, and biology.
