Overview

We are seeking capable and reliable Production Technologists to join our Monoclonal team. In this position, you will perform basic maintenance on cell culture bioreactor systems. This will involve working with peristaltic pumps and implementing process changes as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity. As a Monoclonal Production Technologist, you will play a key role in the on-going planned maintenance of Hybridoma cell cultures in accordance to established procedures. You will also coordinate subsequent testing and processing of culture supernates to intermediate material for further manufacturing use.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintaining cell cultures in bioreactors and flask vectors
  • Testing and processing culture supernate and intermediate material
  • Performing maintenance of equipment and laboratory facilities
  • Manufacturing solutions used in production and processing of raw materials
  • Performing computer entry procedures
  • Writing and/or reviewing standard operating procedures for accuracy
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies stocked in department
  • Wearing complete gowning 50% of workday
  • Coordinating and performing trainings
Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's or Associate in Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology or Chemistry
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical dexterity to move 10 - 200L containers of cell culture medium
  • Schedule flexibility to work weekends and/or holidays as needed to meet production demands
