Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team and support daily financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounting processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of the finance department. If you have strong organizational skills, experience with bookkeeping and financial documentation, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

  • Assist with data entry, account maintenance, and financial recordkeeping

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and help maintain general ledger accuracy

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports and audit documentation

  • Review invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain organized accounting files and records, both electronic and physical

  • Assist with payroll processing and other administrative accounting duties as needed

  • Provide administrative support to the finance department and management team

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting assistant, bookkeeping, or related administrative role

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
