POSITION OVERVIEW

To help support our rapid growth, we are seeking an Accounting Associate for our corporate office in Indianapolis, Indiana. The primary responsibilities will include month-end close and monthly/quarterly reimbursement submission to lenders. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Asset Accounting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform month-end close duties, including but not limited to:
  • Lender escrow analysis and prepaid/accrued expense analysis
  • Balance Sheet audit and adjusting/reclass journal entries
  • Bank reconciliation for operating/savings/entity accounts
  • Management fee calculation and invoicing
  • General Ledger and Operating Statement review and adjusting/reclass journal entries
  • Monthly/quarterly reimbursement submission to lenders
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLSEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent years of experience
  • Ability to provide and receive critical feedback
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required, especially Excel
  • Ability to efficiently use email, phone, fax, scan, mail, etc.
  • Willing to work long hours to meet deadlines (month-end close week)
  • Ability to complete other task as assigned by management
