Help build safer jobsites! TRC Talent Solutions is hiring an experienced HSE Specialist in the Atlanta, Ga area to support commercial construction projects for a Georgia-based construction firm with more than 100 years of proven success. If youre passionate about safety, compliance, and partnering with field teams to prevent incidents before they happen, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.


As the HSE Specialist, youll be a trusted safety partner on active construction sitesconducting inspections, supporting OSHA compliance, leading safety conversations, investigating incidents, and helping project teams and subcontractors maintain a culture where everyone goes home safely.


What Youll Be Doing
Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
Review subcontractor safety plans, JHAs, and pre-mobilization documentation.
Coordinate emergency response procedures and maintain safety equipment.
Track safety metrics, maintain reports and logs, and support workers compensation and claims processes.
Partner with project leadership to identify risks and drive continuous safety improvements.

What We Are Looking For
Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field preferred.
25+ years of construction safety experience.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
Professional safety certifications (OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or similar) are a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
